Main duties of the job:
We are a forward thinking, inclusive registered Charity with Inpatient, Outpatient and Hospice at Home services, providing care and support to palliative patients and their families in their own homes and at St Teresa's Hospice.
We are looking for a housekeeper to support our team, ensuring cleanliness in the Hospice to enable the Hospice to run smoothly. Other housekeeping duties include and laundry, ironing, working with IPU staff and volunteers and preparing simple nutritional meals.
Essential and desirable qualifications, skills and experience include:
Have Level 1 or higher standard of literacy and numeracy (equivalent to GCSE Grade G/1 or higher - qualification not required)
Have previous housekeeping, cleaning or similar experience in a professional capacity.
Have a passion for maintaining high standards of cleanliness in line with health and social care guidance.
Be reliable, and able to work under minimum supervision.
