Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in our facilities, ensuring a welcoming environment for all guests and staff. This position requires a strong commitment to high standards of cleanliness and an ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

Perform general cleaning duties including dusting, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming in all areas of the premises. Ensure that all rooms are cleaned to the highest standards, including making beds and changing linens. Maintain cleanliness in shared areas such as kitchens, bathrooms, and lounges. Handle laundry services, including washing, drying, and folding linens and towels. Assist with cooking and meal preparation as required, ensuring food safety standards are adhered to. Provide excellent customer service by responding promptly to guest requests and inquiries. Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management immediately. Follow established health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.

Skills

Previous experience in janitorial or commercial cleaning is highly desirable. Experience in the hotel industry is an advantage but not essential. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members. Basic cooking skills are beneficial for assisting with meal preparation. Attention to detail with a strong work ethic and the ability to work independently. Ability to manage time effectively and prioritise tasks efficiently.
