Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and organisation within residential property. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a passion for cleanliness and personal service to contribute to a welcoming and hygienic atmosphere. Prior experience in janitorial work, hotel housekeeping is advantageous but not essential, as training will be provided.

Duties

Clean and sanitise rooms, bathrooms, kitchens, and common areas according to established standards Change bed linen and make beds to ensure a neat appearance Sweep, vacuum, mop floors, and dust surfaces to maintain cleanliness Restock supplies such as toiletries, towels, and cleaning products as needed Report any maintenance issues or damages observed during cleaning Follow health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment Assist with specialised cleaning tasks including carpet cleaning or deep cleans when required Provide excellent customer service by addressing client requests courteously and promptly

Skills

Proven experience in hotel housekeeping, is preferred Basic cooking skills are considered a bonus for roles involving hospitality settings Strong organisational skills with an eye for detail to ensure thorough cleaning standards are met Excellent customer service skills to interact professionally with clients Ability to work independently and efficiently within set timeframes Good physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods Reliable and punctual with a professional attitude towards work responsibilities
