Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in various settings, ensuring a welcoming environment for guests and residents. This role requires a strong commitment to customer service and the ability to perform a range of cleaning tasks efficiently.

Duties

Perform general cleaning duties, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitising surfaces. Ensure all areas are kept tidy and organised, including guest rooms, common areas, and restrooms. Handle laundry services as required, including washing, drying, folding, and ironing linens. Assist with cooking and meal preparation when necessary, adhering to dietary requirements. Provide exceptional customer service by responding promptly to guest requests and addressing any concerns. Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and report any shortages or needs to management. Follow health and safety regulations while performing cleaning tasks to ensure a safe environment for all.

Requirements

Previous experience in janitorial roles or commercial cleaning is preferred. Experience in the hotel industry is an advantage but not essential. Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact positively with guests and team members. Basic cooking skills are desirable for assisting with meal preparation. Attention to detail and a proactive approach to maintaining cleanliness standards. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Flexibility in working hours may be required to meet the needs of the establishment.
