We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented housekeeper to join our team. The housekeeper role will be to perform general housekeeping duties according to the routine and frequency laid down in our internal policies and procedures. The housekeeper role includes domestics, laundry and kitchen assistant.
The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and order in our facilities, ensuring a welcoming environment for all our residents. This position requires a proactive approach to cleaning, laundry and helping in the kitc and an eye for detail, as well as the ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.
Responsibilities
Perform general cleaning tasks including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitising surfaces.
Perform general kitchen assistant tasks including preparation of food and dining room ahead of dinner and tea.
Perform general laundry tasks including ironing, folding linen and loading washing machines and driers.
Ensure all rooms and common areas are kept clean and tidy at all times.
Restock supplies such as toiletries, towels, and linens as needed.
Provide excellent customer service by addressing requests or concerns of the residents in a friendly manner.
Follow health and safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment, and following appropriate cleaning and kitchen equipment and agents.
Experience
Previous experience in housekeeping or commercial cleaning is preferred but not essential.
Familiarity with cleaning equipment and chemicals is beneficial.
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail are essential for maintaining high cleanliness standards.
Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends.
