Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in maintaining cleanliness and order within our facilities, ensuring a welcoming environment for all guests and staff. This position requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a commitment to providing excellent customer service. We offer this with a self employment in mind. This provides flexibility in personal ownership and common ground between employees and management.

Duties

Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces, ensuring high standards of cleanliness and hygiene. Change bed linens, towels, and other amenities as required. Dust, vacuum, and mop floors; clean windows and mirrors; and sanitise bathrooms. Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly. Provide exceptional customer service by responding to guest requests in a friendly and efficient manner. Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth operations throughout the facility.

Experience

Previous experience in commercial cleaning or housekeeping is preferred but not essential. Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact positively with guests and colleagues. Experience in a hotel environment or similar setting is an advantage. Basic cooking skills are desirable for assisting with meal preparations when required. Must demonstrate reliability, punctuality, and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Pay: 14.00 per hour

Expected hours: 12 - 42 per week
