Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in our facilities, ensuring a welcoming environment for all guests. This position requires a strong commitment to high standards of cleanliness, as well as excellent customer service skills.

Duties

Clean and sanitise guest rooms, bathrooms, and common areas to ensure a pristine environment. Perform commercial cleaning tasks, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and polishing surfaces. Change bed linens and towels, ensuring they are fresh and well-presented. Restock supplies such as toiletries and cleaning materials as needed. Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly. Assist with laundry duties when required. Provide exceptional customer service by addressing guest inquiries and requests with professionalism. Occasionally assist in cooking or preparing light meals for guests if needed.

Experience

Previous experience in housekeeping or commercial cleaning is preferred. Familiarity with hotel operations is an advantage but not essential. Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact positively with guests. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Attention to detail and a proactive approach to maintaining cleanliness standards.

Job Types: Permanent, Zero hours contract

Pay: Up to 12.50 per hour

Expected hours: 16 - 30 per week
