Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in our facilities, ensuring that all areas are welcoming and hygienic for guests and staff. This role is essential in providing an exceptional experience, reflecting our commitment to high standards of cleanliness and customer service.

Duties

Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, including dusting, vacuuming, and sanitising surfaces. Maintain cleanliness in common areas such as lobbies, hallways, and restrooms. Change bed linens and towels as required, ensuring all items are fresh and well-presented. Restock supplies in guest rooms and communal areas to ensure availability for guests. Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly. Assist with laundry duties as needed, including washing, drying, and folding linens. Provide excellent customer service by responding to guest requests and inquiries with a friendly attitude. Occasionally assist with cooking or food preparation when required.

Requirements

Previous experience in hotel housekeeping or commercial cleaning is preferred but not essential. Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions accurately. Excellent customer service skills with a friendly disposition. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks efficiently throughout the day. Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays if necessary. A valid driver's licence is advantageous for roles requiring travel between locations.
