Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organisation within our establishment. As a Housekeeper, you will play a vital role in ensuring that our guests enjoy a comfortable and welcoming environment during their stay.

Responsibilities

Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house facilities to ensure they meet the highest cleanliness standards. Change bed linens, towels, and other amenities as required, ensuring all items are fresh and well-presented. Dust, vacuum, mop, and sanitise surfaces to maintain a hygienic environment. Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel promptly. Restock cleaning supplies and report shortages to management as needed. Assist with laundry duties as required, ensuring all linens and uniforms are cleaned and pressed. Uphold the values of hospitality by providing excellent service to guests during their interactions with housekeeping staff.

Qualifications

Previous experience in a housekeeping role within the hospitality or hotel industry is preferred but not essential. Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently without supervision. Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively. A positive attitude and willingness to contribute to a team-oriented environment. Physical stamina is required as the role involves standing for long periods and performing manual tasks such as lifting and moving furniture or equipment.

Pay: 12.00-12.77 per hour

Expected hours: 6 - 12 per week
