URGENTLY REQUIRED

:

An experienced, reliable, capable, friendly, all-rounder as housekeeper/home help to support a Penzance-based, housebound family with domestic tasks.

Working :

2 days of approx. 5-hour shifts

(preferably to include one weekend day).

Pay Rate:

13/hr, plus expenses and holiday

.

Hybrid working

Essential duties:

Preparing at least 2 main meals from scratch per week. Other meals may also be required.

Shopping for all household and personal needs.

Cleaning to a high standard.

Organising and supervising trades people and repairs, as necessary

Managing admin and paperwork online.

Driving to hospital and other routine appointments (own car required).

Desirable additional skills/ experience:

Gardening skills

Willingness to turn their hand to whatever is needed to support the family's domestic needs

Must like animals (especially cats);

Ability to do online research for useful services

Caring experience, including assisting with light personal care, if needed in future.

Awareness of food hygiene and health & safety practices

Experience of safe manual handling, as some lifting of items around home/garden will be required.
