An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic Housekeeper (Domestic Cleaner) to Join our Team at Ilkeston Resource Centre, Ilkeston



You wlll be required to carry out a full cleaning service and although cleaning experience is desireable, this is not essential as full training will be given.



This vacancy is for 20 hours per week, working Monday to Friday, 07.00-11.00.



Housekeepers provide a high class cleaning service to all buildings within the Trust, creating a clean environment for all patients, visitors, and staff.

Key result areas (Main duties/responsibilities)



Cleaning Duties



1. Damp mopping and buffing of all floor surfaces, including using machinery. Periodic maintenance as included in the cleaning schedules.



2. Vacuum cleaning of all carpet areas, including use of machinery.



3. Damp dusting all radiators, pipes and ledges.



4. Cleaning of all furniture and fittings by the appropriate method.



5. High dusting.



6. Cleaning of partition glass and inside of windows where necessary.



7. Cleaning of all sanitary fitments.



8. Cleaning wall tiles.



9. Replenishing disposable items, e.g. paper towels, soap, rubbish sacks etc.



10. Emptying of refuse bins and removing to place of disposal. Cleaning of all refuse holders.



11. Cleaning of lockers, beds and mattress when vacated by the patient



Ad Hoc Duties



12. Order and maintain cleaning supplies to required stock level.



13. Report defaults, breakage's, pest's etc to relevant person.



14. To complete all relevant paperwork as requested by management



15. To open and secure buildings following procedures where required
