Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and meticulous Housekeeping Attendant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and order of all hotel areas, ensuring a pristine and welcoming environment for our guests. This role is crucial to our guests' satisfaction and the overall success of the hotel.

Key Responsibilities:

Guest Room Cleaning:

Thoroughly clean and sanitize guest rooms daily, including bedrooms and bathrooms. Make beds with fresh linens, following established hotel standards. Dust, vacuum, mop, and polish all surfaces, including furniture, floors, and fixtures. Clean and sanitize bathrooms, including toilets, showers, bathtubs, sinks, and mirrors. Replenish guest room supplies such as toiletries, towels, and water. Inspect rooms for any maintenance issues and report them promptly to the supervisor.

Public Area Cleaning:

Clean and maintain all public areas, including hallways, lobbies, restrooms, and stairwells. Ensure all public areas are tidy, well-stocked, and presentable at all times. Empty trash and recycling bins throughout the hotel.

General Duties:

Handle and store cleaning chemicals and equipment safely and responsibly. Follow all health and safety regulations, including those related to chemical handling and sanitation. Adhere to a strict schedule to ensure all rooms are prepared for guest check-in on time. Assist with laundry duties as needed, including washing, drying, and folding linens and towels. Report any lost and found items to the supervisor immediately. Work collaboratively with other hotel departments to ensure a smooth guest experience.

Qualifications and Skills:

Proven experience as a Housekeeping Attendant or similar role, preferably in a hotel setting. Knowledge of cleaning and sanitation products, techniques, and methods. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong attention to detail and a high standard of cleanliness. Good time management skills to ensure tasks are completed efficiently. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to stand, bend, stoop, and lift objects throughout the shift. A positive attitude and a strong work ethic. Must be reliable and punctual.

Pay: 12.21-12.50 per hour
