Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and organisation within our Hotels/Apartments. The Housekeeper will contribute to creating a welcoming and hygienic environment for clients and guests alike.

Responsibilities

Clean and sanitise designated areas, including bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchens, and common spaces, ensuring high standards of hygiene are maintained. Perform dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and surface cleaning using appropriate tools and cleaning products. Change bed linens, replenish supplies such as toiletries and towels, and organise spaces to ensure they are tidy and inviting. Assist with specialised cleaning tasks such as carpet cleaning or window washing when required. Handle laundry duties including washing, drying, folding, and storing linen or clothing items. Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly. Maintain cleaning equipment in good condition and ensure stock levels of cleaning supplies are adequate. Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest or client requests courteously and efficiently.

Qualifications

Previous experience in hotel housekeeping, or commercial cleaning is preferred. Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively. Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanour. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Good physical stamina to perform cleaning duties which may involve lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods. A proactive attitude towards maintaining cleanliness standards and ensuring guest satisfaction.

Pay: 12.71 per hour

Expected hours: 8 - 25 per week
