Role Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and reliable
Domestic Cleaner with Cooking Experience
to join our team. The successful candidate will play an integral role in maintaining cleanliness throughout the care home, managing laundry services, and contributing to meal preparation as required.Key Responsibilities:
Cleaning Duties:
Ensure the care home is cleaned to the highest standard, including communal areas, residents' rooms, and bathrooms.Laundry Services:
Handle washing, drying, and ironing to ensure fresh linens and clothing for residents.Cooking Duties:
Prepare meals as required, following the weekly menu as instructed by the Kitchen Manager. Meals should be nutritious and cater to residents' dietary needs.Hygiene Standards:
Adhere to infection control protocols and food safety guidelines to maintain a safe and sanitary environment.Requirements:
Experience:
Previous experience in cleaning and cooking is essential.Health & Hygiene Certification:
Preferred but not essential (training may be provided).Knowledge of Infection Control:
Preferred but not mandatory.Shifts:
Minimum 6 hours per shift.Background Checks:
A clear DBS check is required.References:
