At the Llandudno Bay Hotel we are looking for a team player to assist our housekeeping team

Summary of the position:

The Housekeeper is a key, integral role within the Hotel, providing the fundamental relationship between the hotel operational team and the customers of the business. It involves working within a safe environment and the set Hotel Quality Standards and to undertake your duties as a role model on behalf of the hotel and work colleagues.

As a Housekeeper you will take responsibility for:

Cleaning and maintaining of guest bedrooms, public areas including public toilets, following the specified Everbright Hotels Group Quality Standards. Make beds, change sheets, remove and replace used towels and toiletries and empty bins as per the set standards. Replace dirty cups, glasses and beverage tray amenities.
Vacuum carpets and clean floors: In guest bathroom and public areas.

Clean and dust the guest bedroom and bathroom.

Greeting internal and external customers: Using customer service skills when interacting with guests and staff members alike
Applying appropriate cleaning products to furniture, floors, sinks and windows following Health and Safety regulations.

Complete Housekeeping tasks in an effective and efficient manner following the set standards.

Maintain the workplace in an orderly manner at all times. Ensure that guest rooms and guest property and kept safe. Carry out special cleaning tasks when necessary. Maintain teamwork with peer colleagues to deliver a professional and effective service
Reporting to the line manager, you will take directives to ensure compliance with all Health and Safety and other relevant legislation as laid down in the Everbright Hotels compliance Standards and the Everbright Hotel Group, Hotel policies and procedures.

You will be required to adopt a positive approach, creating an environment of positive communication with others that will aid teamwork, flexibility, trust, respect and excellent customer service.
