Eden House is looking to recruit a Housekeeper to join the team. This is a part-time/15-hour role.
Eden House is the first service in our brand new Division of Residential Addictions. Branded under "Flourish", Eden House will be the first Priory therapy-led residential programme for people seeking meaningful, sustainable recovery from addiction and related behaviours.
What you'll be doing
You'll be part of a dedicated and compassionate team, all working together to ensure the smooth running of the service and to support the wellbeing of our service users. While your role doesn't involve providing direct care, your contribution is vital in helping to maintain a safe, comfortable, and welcoming environment for everyone. Whether you're assisting with day-to-day operations, keeping things organised, or ensuring our spaces are well looked after, your support plays an important part in creating a positive experience for those who live and work here.Perform thorough cleaning and maintenance of guest rooms, common areas, hallways, and other assigned spaces to ensure a consistently high standard of cleanliness, hygiene, and overall presentation that meets or exceeds organizational standards and guest expectations.
Monitor and replenish supplies such as toiletries, cleaning materials, and linens regularly to ensure availability and proper stock levels, coordinating with inventory or housekeeping management as needed.
Identify and promptly report any maintenance issues, damages, safety hazards, or security concerns observed during cleaning duties to the relevant department to facilitate timely repairs and maintain a safe environment for guests and staff.
Adhere strictly to health and safety policies, including the correct handling and storage of cleaning chemicals, use of personal protective equipment (PPE), and compliance with infection control procedures to safeguard personal and public health.
Provide courteous, professional, and efficient service to guests or residents by responding promptly to special requests or concerns, assisting with additional tasks as needed to enhance the overall experience and satisfaction of all occupants.

What you'll bring to the role

You should have previous experience in a cleaning or housekeeping role, preferably within hospitality, healthcare, or residential settings. Attention to detail, reliability, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team are essential. Physical stamina and the capability to perform repetitive tasks, including lifting and standing for extended periods, are required. Good communication skills and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety are also important. Basic knowledge of cleaning chemicals and equipment, along with adherence to health and safety regulations, is expected.
