Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in our facilities, ensuring a welcoming environment for guests and staff. This role is crucial in upholding the high standards of hygiene and presentation that our establishment is known for.

Duties

Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces, adhering to established cleanliness standards. Change bed linens, towels, and other amenities as required. Dust, vacuum, and mop floors to maintain cleanliness throughout the premises. Restock cleaning supplies and report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management. Provide exceptional customer service by addressing guest inquiries and requests promptly and courteously. Assist in laundry duties as needed, ensuring all items are cleaned and returned efficiently. Collaborate with other team members to ensure a smooth operation of housekeeping services.

Qualifications

Previous experience in hotel housekeeping or commercial cleaning is highly desirable. Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact positively with guests and colleagues. Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays if required. A basic understanding of cooking may be beneficial for assisting with meal preparation during busy periods.
