Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and order in our facilities, ensuring a welcoming environment for all guests. This position requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Working hours will, ideally, be 10am to 3pm.

Duties

Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, bathrooms, and common areas to ensure high standards of cleanliness. Change bed linens and towels, ensuring all items are fresh and well-presented. Dust, vacuum, and mop floors to maintain cleanliness throughout the premises. Restock supplies such as toiletries and cleaning products as needed. Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly. Provide excellent customer service by responding to guest requests and inquiries in a friendly manner. Assist with laundry duties when required, including washing, drying, and folding linens. Maintain cleaning equipment and supplies in good condition.

Skills

Previous experience in commercial cleaning or hotel housekeeping is essential. Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact positively with guests. Excellent organisational skills with a keen eye for detail. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively to complete tasks efficiently. A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
