Housekeeper

to join us in keeping our venue, offices, and accommodation pristine and guest-ready at all times.

Role Overview



As our #Housekeeper, you will play a key role in ensuring the cleanliness, presentation, and operational efficiency of our venue, guest accommodation, and estate areas. You will manage all housekeeping-related logistics including rotas, stock control, liaising with cleaning contractors, and ensuring Health & Safety compliance. You will also be responsible for regular checks, reporting issues, and responding quickly to any challenges that arise before or after events.

Key Responsibilities



Oversee the day-to-day cleaning and upkeep of the venue, lodges, offices, and estate buildings Be in charge of the cleaning rota system, ensuring all areas are consistently covered Liaise with external contractors, including handling rota-related queries, coordinating cleaning schedules, and addressing any issues with turnarounds Manage and replenish consumables and supplies across the site, including cleaning products, toiletries, tea/coffee, and other lodge provisions Take responsibility for stock ordering and storage Maintain linen stock levels and oversee all linen ordering and laundry coordination Prepare and deliver breakfast hampers to guest lodges when required Carry out regular checks of all accommodation and report any maintenance or cleanliness issues to the Senior Management Team Monitor guest information via our online booking system, including notes on early check-ins or late check-outs, and adjust schedules accordingly Be on hand to assist with and troubleshoot any issues related to cleans or turnaround schedules, especially during busy periods Ensure all housekeeping operations are fully compliant with current Health & Safety and hygiene regulations Support weekend changeovers and cleaning duties, especially during wedding season Work collaboratively with the events and operations teams to maintain the highest standards of presentation across the estate

- You'll work closely with a small team and may interact with guests

- Comfortable performing manual tasks like lifting linen or moving supplies

- Willing to work some weekends and adjust to changing needs

Requirements



Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience, ideally in hospitality, accommodation, or event venues Experience managing or coordinating rotas, stock control, or liaising with contractors is desirable Ability to commute reliably to Woodditton Understanding of basic Health & Safety and hygiene best practices
