28 hours per week 8am - 3.30pm, alternate weekends 12.26 per hour

Excellent opportunity for a dedicated, hard-working individual interested in working at The Oaks Care Home, Sandstone Care Group's purpose-built nursing and residential home in Newtown, Powys.

This stunning 73-bedded luxury home opened its doors in January 2020 and offers its residents state-of-the-art facilities unrivalled in the area, to include a coffee shop/bistro, hair & nail salon, separate dining and lounge areas, activities room and landscaped gardens, whilst at the same time providing exceptional standards of care supported by the very latest care planning and nurse-call technology.

As a Housekeeper at our home, your role may involve:

Providing a clean and beautifully presented environment for our residents Ensuring cleaning schedules are adhered to and effective infection control is maintained at all times Working flexibly between the Home's domestic and laundry departments if required

Overtime is paid for working over fulltime hours. Free meals are given if working over an 8 hour shift and are subject to terms and conditions. Discounts are accessed using our 'Reward Me' app. Flexible pay is available via 'WAGESTREAM'.

What are we looking for?

Applicants should be strong team-players, with excellent communication skills and a flexible approach to work. Furthermore, post-holders must be able to demonstrate previous experience of undertaking cleaning and laundry, gained either in work or domestic environments.
