Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and organisation within residential, commercial, or hospitality environments. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals who take pride in their work and enjoy creating welcoming spaces for clients and guests. Prior experience in janitorial, hotel, or commercial cleaning is advantageous, but full training will be provided for the right candidate. The position is paid and suitable for those seeking a reliable role with flexible hours. Predominantly Saturday and Sunday Mornings.

Duties

Perform thorough cleaning of rooms, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitising surfaces Change bed linens and replenish amenities as required Maintain cleanliness of bathrooms, kitchens, and communal areas Ensure all cleaning equipment and supplies are used safely and stored correctly Report any maintenance issues or damages to management promptly Assist with organising storage areas and ensuring supplies are well-stocked Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest or client requests courteously and efficiently Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times during cleaning activities

Experience

Previous janitorial or commercial cleaning experience is preferred but not essential; training will be provided Experience working in hotels or hospitality environments is a plus Skills in cooking or food preparation are considered advantageous but are not mandatory Strong customer service skills with a friendly and professional attitude Ability to work independently and as part of a team Organised with excellent attention to detail to ensure high standards of cleanliness are maintained

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: 7.55-12.21 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 8 per week
