Must be flexible and be able to also work every other weekend.

Job Summary

We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards within our facilities. This position is vital to ensuring a welcoming and safe environment for our guests and staff. Previous experience in the hotel or hospitality industry is advantageous but not essential, as we value a strong work ethic and a commitment to quality.

Responsibilities

Perform cleaning duties in guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces to ensure high standards of cleanliness are met. Dust, mop, sweep, and vacuum floors; clean windows, mirrors, and other surfaces to maintain a pristine appearance. Change bed linens and towels, ensuring all items are fresh and presentable for guests. Restock cleaning supplies and report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly. Follow established cleaning procedures and safety protocols to ensure compliance with health regulations. Collaborate with team members to complete tasks efficiently while maintaining a positive work environment.

Experience

Previous experience in a cleaning role within the hotel or hospitality sector is preferred but not mandatory. A keen eye for detail with the ability to identify areas needing attention. Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage time effectively while performing multiple tasks. Excellent communication skills and a friendly disposition when interacting with guests and colleagues. A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
