Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in our facilities, ensuring a welcoming environment for all guests and residents. This position requires a strong commitment to customer service and an eye for detail, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Hours are 4 hours per day between 10am-3pm, we have availability for 7 days per week, but your welcome to only work 3 or 4, we are ideally looking for 2 people to cover all 7 days.

Responsibilities

Perform routine cleaning tasks, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitising surfaces. Ensure all areas are kept clean and tidy, including guest rooms, communal areas, and restrooms. Manage laundry duties, including washing, drying, folding, and ironing linens. Assist with cooking simple meals when required, adhering to dietary restrictions and preferences. Provide exceptional customer service by responding to guest requests promptly and courteously. Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel. Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and notify management when stock is low. Follow health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.

Experience

Previous experience in housekeeping or janitorial roles is preferred. Experience in hotel or commercial cleaning environments is advantageous. Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact positively with guests. Cooking skills are a plus, with an understanding of basic food hygiene practices. Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team setting.
