Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and order in various settings, including hotels and commercial establishments. This role requires a strong commitment to customer service and the ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces to ensure a pristine environment. Change bed linens, replace towels, and restock toiletries as needed. Dust, vacuum, and mop floors, ensuring all surfaces are clean and presentable. Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly. Assist with laundry duties when required, ensuring all linens are cleaned and folded appropriately. Provide excellent customer service by responding to guest requests and inquiries in a timely manner. Adhere to health and safety regulations while performing cleaning tasks.

Skills

Experience in commercial cleaning or housekeeping roles is preferred. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members. Basic cooking skills are a plus for those who may assist in food preparation or service. Familiarity with hotel operations is advantageous but not essential. Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently. Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as required.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From 12.50 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 40 per week
