Job Title: Housekeeping Team Member (with optional Front of House shifts)

The Ship Inn, Red Wharf Bay

Hours:

Housekeeping: Friday to Tuesday, 8am-11am (flexible start time, as long as all tasks are completed by 11am). Option to top up hours with lunchtime Front of House shifts.
About the Role

We're looking for a reliable and proactive team member to join us at The Ship Inn. This is a key role in keeping our pub looking its best - making sure our restaurant and facilities are clean, welcoming, and ready for our guests each day.

If you'd like to boost your hours, there's also the option to support our Front of House team during busy lunchtime service.

Key Responsibilities

Housekeeping (core role):

Cleaning and preparing the pub, dining areas and guest facilities to a high standard. Ensuring restrooms are spotless and well-stocked. Supporting the team in keeping storage and back-of-house areas tidy and safe. Taking pride in presentation and attention to detail.

Optional Front of House (extra hours):

Greeting and looking after guests during lunch service. Serving food and drinks with a friendly and professional approach. Assisting with table clearing and resetting. Working as part of the team to deliver excellent customer service.
About You

Reliable, punctual and able to work independently. High attention to detail and pride in maintaining a clean, welcoming environment. Friendly and approachable with a willingness to help out across the team. Flexible and happy to pick up extra shifts Front of House if desired.
