Frances Bolitho is a brand new purpose built residential home, supporting vulnerable adults, some who may have Dementia. We are looking to recruit a Housekeeper to join their friendly and enthusiastic domestic team. You will provide a housekeeping service to ensure the interior of the home and furniture are clean and maintained to the highest standard. The right candidate must be able compassionate and person centered to interact and join in with residents conversations and activities, put the needs and well-being of our residents above all else.

Job Purpose

The role of the Housekeeper is to assist our teams in delivering an exceptional experience to residents to live full, happy and healthy lives. You will be proud to deliver excellent housekeeping standards across the home.

Main duties and Responsibilities

Dusting and polishing furniture and fixtures Cleaning and sanitising toilets, showers/bathtubs, countertops, and sinks Making beds and changing linens Using any cleaning equipment such as vacuums, mops, and other cleaning tools Keeping bathrooms stocked with clean linens, toiletries, and other supplies Cleaning mirrors and other glass surfaces Tidying up rooms Monitoring cleaning supplies and ordering more as needed Reporting any necessary repairs or replacements

Requirements

Kind, caring and compassionate in nature Highly motivated and driven to achieve high standard Ability to work on own initiative and under pressure in a diverse and changing environment Ability to communicate and interact well with residents and others Cleaning and maintaining resident's bedrooms and communal area to make sure that it meets any housekeeping sanitation requirements, while providing a comfortable space for residents and employees. Job role involves working in the laundry as well as main cleaning duties throughout the home
