Job Description

30 hours per week, 6 hour shifts, shift patterns vary.

We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team, helping maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents living with dementia. Your role is vital in supporting the wellbeing and dignity of those in our care.


Key Responsibilities:


Clean and sanitise bedrooms, bathrooms, communal areas, and staff facilities to high standards. Ensure laundry is washed, dried, and returned promptly and respectfully. Monitor and replenish cleaning supplies and report any maintenance issues. Follow infection control procedures and health & safety guidelines. Work sensitively around residents, respecting their space and routines. Collaborate with care staff to support a homely and welcoming atmosphere

Requirements:


Previous housekeeping experience preferred, ideally in a care or healthcare setting. Understanding of infection control and hygiene standards. Compassionate attitude and respect for residents with dementia. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
