We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team on a Temporary 2 month time frame. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organisation within our premises, ensuring a welcoming environment for guests and customers alike. Previous experience in hotel, hospitality, or janitorial services is highly desirable.
Working Hours
The Hotel requires cover between Friday - Sunday working 7.30am to 11.30am with the opportunity for overtime.
Responsibilities
Clean and sanitise guest rooms, public areas, and staff facilities to the highest standards of hygiene and presentation
Change bed linens, towels, and replenish amenities as required
Vacuum carpets, mop floors, dust surfaces, and ensure all areas are spotless
Report any maintenance issues or damages to management promptly
Maintain cleaning equipment and supplies in good condition and stock inventory as needed
Follow health and safety procedures at all times to ensure a safe working environment
Assist with laundry duties when necessary, including washing, drying, and folding linens and uniforms
Skills
Previous experience in hotel housekeeping, hospitality, or janitorial roles is preferred
Strong attention to detail with a commitment to cleanliness and organisation
Ability to work independently and efficiently within a team environment
Good organisational skills and the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
Excellent communication skills and a professional attitude
Flexibility to adapt to changing schedules or additional duties as required
