Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and order within our facilities, ensuring a welcoming environment for all guests. This position requires attention to detail, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Duties

Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, common areas, and facilities to ensure high standards of cleanliness are maintained. Change bed linens, towels, and other amenities as required. Dust, vacuum, and mop floors, ensuring all surfaces are free from dirt and debris. Restock cleaning supplies and report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management. Provide excellent customer service by responding promptly to guest requests and inquiries. Assist with laundry duties as needed, including washing, drying, and folding linens. Occasionally assist in light cooking tasks or food preparation when required. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times.

Skills

Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact positively with guests and colleagues. Experience in commercial cleaning or hotel housekeeping is advantageous but not essential. Basic cooking skills would be beneficial for assisting in food preparation tasks. Excellent organisational skills with a keen eye for detail to ensure thorough cleaning standards are met. Ability to work independently while also being an effective team player. Good time management skills to efficiently complete tasks within designated timeframes.
