Housekeeper With Some Childcare
Job Description
We are looking for a live-in housekeeper, where the job will involve some childcare (we have children aged 4, 12 and 16). You will be responsible for cooking, keeping kitchen clean, light cleaning (we have a cleaner, so you would not be doing heavy cleaning).
There will be some childcare. Our 16 year old has severe learning disabilities and needs a lot of support. You are not being hired as a carer for him but you will need to help with him when needed and a lot of food preparation will be for him as he as a special diet.
We will arrange with you the hours that you work on a monthly basis. The total amount of hours is negotiable but will be at least 40 hours a week.
We will provide your food and you will have your own room, bathroom and kitchen in a separate section to our house. We live in a lovely area near the beach with good transport links to London (1.5 hrs on the train to central London).
We are looking for someone who has a positive attitude and will enjoy becoming part of our (busy) home/family. It is important that you are a responsible person who likes being around children and is good at cooking and keeping things clean/hygienic.
