Job Summary

We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team. Reporting to the Hotel Manager, the ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards within our hotel. This position is essential for ensuring a welcoming and pleasant environment for our guests and staff. Previous experience in hospitality or hotel settings is advantageous but not mandatory.

Responsibilities

Perform thorough cleaning of designated areas, including guest rooms, lobbies, restrooms, and common areas. Ensure all cleaning tasks are completed to a high standard, adhering to health and safety regulations. Restock supplies such as toiletries, towels, and cleaning materials as required. Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel promptly. Follow established cleaning schedules and protocols to ensure efficiency. Assist in the organisation of storage areas for cleaning supplies and equipment. Maintain a positive attitude while interacting with guests and staff, contributing to a hospitable environment.

Qualifications

Previous experience in a cleaning role, particularly within the hospitality or hotel industry, is preferred but not essential. Strong attention to detail with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Excellent time management skills to ensure tasks are completed efficiently. Good communication skills and a friendly disposition towards guests and colleagues. Ability to follow instructions and adhere to safety guidelines consistently. Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed.
