Job Description

Job Title: Housekeeper/Cleaner

Provide a consistently high-quality service with high standards of cleanliness, hygiene and tidiness across the Home, ensuring compliance with infection control procedures.

Role Specific Standards:

Support the team ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene are met throughout the home

Regular cleaning of all equipment and recording on cleaning schedules

Completion of deep cleans to include Kitchen areas, carpets and soft furnishings and recording on cleaning sheets

Oversee the Domestic stock, working within budget ensuring they have sufficient cleaning product offering support if required

Ensure all stocks of chemicals and cleaning supplies are stored securing away from potential harm

Obtain data sheets for all chemicals used throughout the home and ensure COSHH file is up to date

Understand H.A.C.C.P, ensure all staff adhere to H.A.C.C.P and all documentation is completed and signed by the appropriate staff

Monthly ordering of required cleaning supplies or equipment in line with monthly budget

Carry out stock takes at the end of each month

Ensure cleaning cupboards/trolleys are left clean and adequate supplies are accessible when you are off duty

Complete monthly audits for kitchen and Domestics reporting to the Registered Manager

Co-operate with special requests from the Home Manager and residents wherever possible

Support the Housekeeping rota to ensure the home always has sufficient cover

Daily management Domestic Assistants offering additional training, support, and guidance when and if required.

Report and record all accidents within your department to Home Manager and home accident book.

All assigned Online E Learning on Care skills Academy

Carry out any other reasonable tasks as expected by your line manager

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: 12.44 per hour
