Job Title:

Nursery Housekeeper

Responsible to:

Nursery Manager, Room Leaders and the Director

Purpose of the Job:

Ensure the nursery is kept clean and tidy to provide a safe and clean environment for

children and staff.

Personal Specification:

Y Good communication skills.

Y Able to manage time and organise duties accordingly.

Main Duties

Y Follow all company's policies and procedures.

Y Ensure you are following our health and safety policy and complete risk assessment as and when needed ensure you tell a senior or manager.

Y Ensure you follow the correct procedure for manual handling at all times.

Y Keep all cleaning records up to date and hand them to the manager on a weekly basis.

Y Comply with all COSHH and RIDDOR policies.

Y Ensure a high standard of cleanliness is maintained throughout the nursery.

Y Ensure you use your PPE (Personal Protective Equipment)

Y Perform and meet targets set by management and director.

Y Work with external agencies when required.

Y Work any overtime required due to needs of the business.

Y Attend staff meetings if needed.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From 12.21 per hour

Expected hours: 35 per week

Work Location: In person

Expected start date: 19/08/2025
