Job Description

Job Overview: As a Bed and Breakfast Cleaner, you will play a vital role in ensuring the cleanliness, hygiene, and overall pleasant experience for guests staying at the bed and breakfast establishment. Your primary responsibility is to maintain a clean, organized, and inviting environment throughout the property. You will work closely with the housekeeping team and management to uphold the bed and breakfast's reputation for cleanliness and excellent service.

Key Responsibilities:

Room Cleaning: Thoroughly clean and sanitize guest rooms, including bedrooms, bathrooms, and common areas, following the established cleaning procedures and checklists.

Linen Management: Strip beds, launder linens, and make beds with fresh, clean sheets, pillowcases, and towels to provide guests with a comfortable and welcoming environment.

Bathroom Maintenance: Clean and disinfect bathrooms, replenish toiletries, and ensure all amenities are in proper working condition.

Dusting and Vacuuming: Dust all surfaces, furniture, and fixtures within the rooms and common areas. Vacuum carpets and mop floors to maintain cleanliness.

Trash Disposal: Collect and dispose of trash and recyclables from rooms and common areas, maintaining a tidy and odor-free environment.

Inspect and Report: Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms to ensure they meet quality standards and report any damages or maintenance issues to the appropriate department.

Restocking Supplies: Restock guest room supplies such as towels, toilet paper, tissues, and amenities, ensuring an adequate inventory is available at all times.

Public Area Cleaning: Clean and maintain the cleanliness of common areas, including the reception area, dining room, lounges, and hallways.

Compliance: Follow health and safety regulations, including the safe handling of cleaning chemicals, to ensure a safe and healthy environment for guests and staff.

Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other housekeeping team members and communicate effectively with management to ensure efficient operations.
