Parkland Caravan, Camping and Glamping site is an AA five star, platinum site located near Kingsbridge and Salcombe in glorious South Devon. We are an adults only site with 45 pitches (mix of touring/camping and seasonal) and 9 glamping/self catering properties.

We are currently recruiting for a part time housekeeper/cleaner to join our small friendly team. Your duties will include, but are not limited to:

Cleaning and preparing each of our glamping and self catering properties to our high standards for the arrival of each new guest. This includes bed making, cleaning ensuite facilities, kitchens, BBQ's, outside areas and ensuring inventory is correct.

Maintain the highest level of cleanliness throughout all the site facilities, this includes:

Hotel style washrooms with baths and showers
Private washrooms
Campers Kitchen
Washing up areas
Guest laundry room
Guest lounge
Reception
Site Shop
Ensuring doors and pathways are clean

Check for and report maintenance issues, ensure any issues are rectified as soon as possible

Be conversant with health and safety and completing and reporting of fire alarm checks

Who are we looking for?

You will have excellent attention to detail
A knowledge of cleaning products and procedures
Excellent customer service skills
Be friendly with a positive can do attitude
Be prepared to work on your own initiative and as part of a team
Be available to work weekends and bank holidays
Be flexible and reliable with your working week which will depend on occupancy levels

Knowledge and experience of working in a similar position would be preferred.

Hours: 10 - 25 per week - depending on occupancy levels

Salary: 12.50 per hour

Should you be a 'van lifer' a pitch for a touring caravan or camper van can be made available (subject to T&C's)
