Love to get stuck in, organise and tidy? Come and give a five-star polish to our stone farmhouse for 17 per hour! If you've ever wondered what goes on behind the scenes at Chuckling Goat, this is your chance to find out. Nice family-run company, goats, cats and lovely ocean views! We are looking for an enthusiastic, organised person to become our friendly new Housekeeper/Cleaner, keeping the farmhouse, cottage and small factory clean, orderly and ticking over. This is NOT just a simple cleaning job - we need a proactive problem solver who loves to organise, with a great attention to detail and the ability to make things run smoothly. Because we run Chuckling Goat and live and work here onsite, there is a lot going on! We frequently have TV/social media cameras coming in, or meetings happening in the farmhouse, so there is a great requirement for flexibility - you'll need to be able to work around whatever is going on. You'll be a member of our team - great coffee, & job satisfaction to be gained from the fact that we're helping people all over the UK to feel better. We are located in Brynhoffnant on the main road A487, SA446DS, near Cardigan and Newcastle Emlyn. The time commitment is around 20 hours per week but times can be agreed to suit - hours may be split into three days, as you prefer, with mutually agreed start and finish times . We are very family friendly!

Responsibilities:

- Clean and tidy farmhouse (three bed, two bath) and cottage (one bed, one bath.)

- Dust and polish all furniture and fixtures

- Wash, dry, fold and iron laundry
- Vacuum and mop floors
- Change bed linens and towels
- Empty trash receptacles and dispose of waste properly
- Order and replenish all household supplies, ensuring that supplies don't run out.

- Clean and tidy factory premises. Staff canteen (kitchen and bathroom facilities) main building - hallways, office, bathroom plus one outdoor toilet.

- Plus anything else needed to ensure that life in the farmhouse/factory runs smoothly to the highest standard.

Qualifications:
- Previous experience in housekeeping or a similar role is preferred but not required
- Ability to work independently and efficiently

- Organisational skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent time management skills
- Good communication skills
- Physical stamina to perform tasks such as lifting heavy objects and standing for long periods of time
