Key Responsibilities

Childcare Duties

Provide attentive and nurturing care for children, adapting to their age, personality, and daily routines. Prepare healthy meals and snacks for the children. Assist with homework, reading, and creative activities. Plan engaging indoor and outdoor activities to encourage development and learning. Accompany children to school, appointments, and activities as needed. Ensure the children's rooms, play areas, and belongings remain tidy and organised. Maintain communication with parents regarding progress, routines, and wellbeing. Follow family guidelines on discipline, manners, and boundaries.
Housekeeping Duties

Maintain a clean, organised, and welcoming home environment. Perform daily cleaning, vacuuming, and dusting of all main rooms. Handle laundry, ironing, and wardrobe management for both adults and children. Change bed linens and maintain fresh, orderly bedrooms. Organise cupboards, pantries, and storage areas. Restock household supplies and report maintenance or repair needs. Support meal preparation for the family or assist with simple cooking when required. Keep the kitchen, bathrooms, and children's spaces hygienic and well-presented.

Qualifications & Experience

Minimum 3-5 years' experience in a similar Housekeeper/Nanny or household role. Enhanced DBS check (mandatory). Paediatric First Aid certification preferred. Driving licence preferred for school runs or errands. References from previous private families. Childcare training (e.g. CACHE, Norland, or Montessori) advantageous.
Working Hours & Conditions

Typically 6-8 hours per day, Monday to Friday. Occasional flexibility for evenings or weekends.
