Join Our Family Support Team

We are a loving, busy family with two 8 year-old children looking for someone special to help keep our household happy and running smoothly. Both parents are business owners, and with one parent traveling frequently, we'd love to welcome a caring, reliable, and positive person who feels like part of the family.

We're looking for someone who brings warmth, good energy, and a growth mindset to support both our children and our home. This hybrid position blends household management, childcare support (when not in school), and personal assistance. We need someone who can confidently balance home tasks with transport to children's activities, and homework support--all while bringing a positive can-do attitude. Experience with teaching or tutoring is an absolute bonus. If you happen to be a gourmet chef even better .. and be sure to mention this in your cover letter.

Responsibilities

School runs and driving to children's activities (valid driver's license required) Childcare and homework support (previous childcare experience required) Household support: laundry, ironing, organising, and housekeeping Meal preparation and batch cooking for the family General household management to support a busy family lifestyle Managing deliveries, collections, vendors and contractors, as well as some weekly shopping and general errands Prepare nutritious meals and snacks, catering to dietary requirements and preferences Assist with homework and educational activities to promote learning and development Maintain a clean and tidy environment Decluttering and keeping the children's things and the house organised Communicate effectively with parents regarding children's activities, behaviour, and any concerns that may arise A genuine love for children, along with patience, creativity, and adaptability in various situations Relevant certifications in first aid or child safety are desirable

Ideal Candidate

Must have a valid driver's license and safe driving record Previous childcare/nanny experience is required Trustworthy, dependable, and caring--a person we and our children can rely on Organised, dependable, and able to manage multiple responsibilities Positive, upbeat personality with good energy for engaging and motivating children Flexible and able to adapt to last-minute scheduling changes Comfortable supporting two busy business owners and their family needs Occasional late night and weekend babysitting

Details

Contract/freelance role: approx. 20-30 hours per week (we have some flexibility ... full-time possibility for right candidate) Hybrid: on-site with some flexibility in scheduling (we need more assistance 2-6:30/7 PM and some mornings) Pay: Competitive, based on experience Long-term potential for the right fit
