We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and order within our establishment, ensuring a welcoming environment for guests. This position is perfect for individuals with experience in the hotel or hospitality industry who take pride in their work and have a keen eye for detail.

Responsibilities

Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, bathrooms, and common areas to ensure high standards of cleanliness. Change bed linens, replace towels, and replenish toiletries as required. Dust and polish furniture, fixtures, and fittings to maintain a pristine appearance. Vacuum carpets and mop floors to ensure cleanliness throughout the premises. Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly. Adhere to health and safety regulations while performing cleaning duties. Assist with laundry duties as needed, including washing, drying, and folding linens. Maintain cleaning supplies inventory and notify management when stock is low.

Experience

Previous experience in a housekeeping role within the hotel or hospitality sector is preferred but not essential. Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a team. Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively. A friendly disposition with good communication skills to interact positively with guests and staff. Physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks efficiently throughout the day.

Job Types: Full-time, Temp to perm
Contract length: 8 months

Pay: 12.21 per hour

Expected hours: 30 - 50 per week
