Job Description
MacDonalds Plas Talgarth Resort is a large property comprising of holiday villas and a Georgian Mansion House containing 12 self contained apartments, set in its own beautiful grounds. The resort is perfectly complemented by our own Village Hall containing games and attractions for our guests and our gymnasium, out-door and indoor swimming pools.
Working as part of the Housekeeping team and reporting to the Housekeeping Manager, the successful candidate will have excellent attention to detail and be committed to helping us maintain our high standards throughout the year but especially over peak holiday times.
We have 77 houses and apartments with Bar and Restaurant areas which require hardworking individuals to work as part of a team to provide the best possible service and standards to our guests.
The successful candidate will preferably have previous experience in a Hotel or accommodation-based business.
However, full training will be given.
Job Responsibilities -
You will be responsible for cleaning all areas of the Hotel Bedrooms & Bathrooms, public areas, checking room facilities are working and reporting any maintenance issues.Qualifications or desired skills -
Experience preferred but full training will be given Excellent time keeping skills and the ability to work to high standards under pressure Great attention to detail is a MUST HAVE in this role
Hours -
Hours will be varied depending on business requirements (between 5 - 40 hours per week) and shifts will start from8.30am
. The role may include shifts onboth days of the weekend
, therefore both weekday & weekend availability will be required.Own transport or access to public transport is essential given location, start times and location.
