Your Role as a Housekeeping Assistant
As a Bank Housekeeping Assistant, you'll play a key role in maintaining a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for our residents, staff, and visitors. Your responsibilities will include:
Cleaning resident rooms, communal areas, and staff facilities to a high standard
Ensuring infection control procedures are followed at all times
Handling laundry duties including washing, drying, and distributing clean linen
Replenishing supplies such as soap, paper towels, and toilet rolls
Reporting any maintenance issues or hazards promptly
Working collaboratively with care and nursing staff to support overall wellbeing
Essential Criteria
To be considered for this role, applicants must meet the following criteria:
A genuine interest in working in a care home environment
Good attention to detail and a commitment to cleanliness
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Willingness to undertake training relevant to the role
Flexibility to work shifts on an as-needed basis
Right to work in the UK (proof will be required)
Willingness to undergo an Access NI Enhanced Disclosure Check
Minimum of 6 months experience in a Housekeeping role
