Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and organisation within various settings, ensuring a high standard of hygiene and presentation. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a passion for cleanliness and customer service to contribute to a welcoming environment. Prior experience in janitorial, hotel, or commercial cleaning is advantageous but not essential, as training will be provided. The position is paid and suitable for those who take pride in their work and enjoy creating a tidy, comfortable space for clients.

Duties

Clean and sanitise all designated areas, including bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchens, and communal spaces Change bed linens and organise supplies as required Ensure all surfaces are dusted, vacuumed, mopped, and polished to meet organisational standards Restock toiletries, towels, and other amenities as necessary Assist with laundry duties including washing, drying, folding, and storing linen Report any maintenance issues or damages observed during cleaning tasks Follow health and safety protocols diligently to maintain a safe working environment Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest or client requests promptly and courteously Maintain cleaning equipment in good condition and ensure proper storage after use

Experience

Previous experience in janitorial services, hotel housekeeping, or commercial cleaning is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided for the right candidate Skills in cooking or food preparation are considered advantageous but are not essential Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage time effectively across multiple tasks Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanour Ability to work independently as well as part of a team Flexibility to adapt to different environments and client needs
