Key responsibilities of the Housekeeping Assistant will include:




Perform a variety of cleaning activities, such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, and polishing Ensure all rooms and public areas are cleaned and organised Make beds and change linens as required Clean and sanitise bathrooms and replenish supplies Vacuum and clean carpets and rugs Empty and dispose of trash in an environmentally friendly manner Report any maintenance issues or safety concerns to the supervisor Ensure all cleaning equipment and supplies are in good working order and report any shortages Collaborate with other team members to ensure a high standard of cleanliness and guest satisfaction Adhere to health and safety guidelines and regulations

The Ideal Housekeeping Assistant:




Strong customer service skills Proven experience as a Housekeeper or a similar role preferred, not essential Knowledge of cleaning and sanitation products, techniques, and methods Ability to work independently and prioritise tasks Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining a clean and organised environment Excellent communication and teamwork skill
