Summary

We are seeking a diligent Housekeeper to join Carrick Care Family in Barrhead, Glasgow. In this role, you will play a vital part in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our residents and staff, reflecting our commitment to quality care.

Responsibilities

Perform thorough cleaning and sanitation of residential and communal areas. Maintain cleanliness of floors, carpets, and surfaces using appropriate techniques. Assist with minor maintenance tasks to ensure the facility remains in excellent condition. Follow health and safety protocols to protect residents and staff. Manage janitorial supplies and ensure proper storage. Support with special cleaning projects as needed. Collaborate with team members to uphold high standards of cleanliness. Report any maintenance issues or safety concerns promptly.

Qualifications

Proven experience in cleaning, custodial work, or facilities maintenance. Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, equipment, and safety procedures. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Excellent time management skills. Prior experience in residential or industrial cleaning is preferred. Ability to handle physical tasks including lifting and standing for extended periods.
