location - MOFFAT MANSION BEATTOCK DG10 9QB. Beattock is a village just outside Moffat.

We are currently seeking a housekeeper part time 6 hours Fridays 10am to 4pm to join our hospitality team in maintaining the cleanliness and tidiness of our large holiday let.

Occasionally other days are available for workingExtra hours maybe available from Easter onwards

We're a small family business - family owned, family run, with a warm welcome for our guests. We're a large holiday let in Beattock DG10 9QB in the Scottish Borders. The house sleeps 16; we have 7 bedrooms, bathrooms & 6 reception rooms Our house is unique/quirky and set in large gardens. We offer a great place to celebrate or to relax with friends and family

Duties:

- Clean and tidy guest rooms according to hotel standards
- Change bed linens and replace towels
- Replenish amenities
- Dust, vacuum, and mop floors
- Ensure all surfaces are sanitised and free of dust
- Report any maintenance issues to the appropriate department

Requirements:

- no experience required

- Attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently
- Good physical health and stamina for prolonged periods of standing and manual labour
a friendly and approachable attitude
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team

About the role...

You'll make sure our bedrooms and living areas are always 'fresh and welcoming' for our guests

Working as part of the housekeeping team, you'll make sure our rooms are always at their best and in line with company standards.

In this role you'll be organised, preparing for your day ahead, keeping on top of required supplies and amenities, always trying to minimise waste and reporting when more items are required.

Although you'll be allocated your own workload on a daily basis, team work is also important, working together to complete other tasks that may occur unexpectedly, or helping other team members that need support.

In this role you can expect to fully service rooms changing bed linen, dusting, polishing, vacuuming, cleaning bathrooms, restocking amenities etc, assist with deep cleaning projects and ad-hoc duties throughout the month

About you...

Experience in this role or similar but not necessary Enthusiastic, flexible, passionate display a professional and courteous attitude Ability to work independently but also be an effective team player An excellent eye for detail with great time management and organisational skills Good communication skills live locally & able to travel easily to work

Pay: Up to 13.50 per hour
