Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in various environments, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for guests and residents. This role requires a strong commitment to customer service and the ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.

Duties

Perform general cleaning tasks including dusting, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming in designated areas. Ensure all rooms and common areas are clean, tidy, and well-maintained. Change bed linens and towels regularly, ensuring a high standard of hygiene is maintained. Clean bathrooms thoroughly, including sinks, toilets, showers, and mirrors. Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly. Assist with laundry duties as required, including washing, drying, and folding linens. Provide excellent customer service by responding to guest requests in a friendly and efficient manner. Occasionally assist with cooking tasks when needed, ensuring meals are prepared according to dietary requirements. Collaborate with other staff members to ensure smooth operations within the facility.

Experience

Previous experience in housekeeping or commercial cleaning is preferred but not essential. Familiarity with hotel operations or customer service roles would be advantageous. Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions accurately. Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively. A positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills are essential for success in this role.
