Overview

We're looking for a detail-driven, motivated

Housekeeper

to join our friendly team at

The Old Mill Inn

, an award-winning hotel, bar & restaurant in the heart of Pitlochry.

As part of our housekeeping team, you'll play an essential role in ensuring our 14-bedroom hotel, restaurant, and bar maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and comfort for our guests. You'll take pride in your work, enjoy being part of a busy hospitality environment, and share our commitment to five-star service.

Daily tasks will include:

Ensuring the full hygiene and cleanliness of guest bedrooms, bathrooms, and public areas Preparing rooms for new arrivals and maintaining high presentation standards throughout guest stays Sorting and storing linens and towels Replenishing guest amenities and reporting maintenance issues promptly Liaising with the General Manager regarding linen and cleaning product stock levels Supporting the wider team with daily operations when required Providing friendly and professional service to guests at all times

About You

We're looking for someone who takes real pride in creating spotless spaces and a warm, welcoming environment.

Essential attributes:

18 years + Smart and presentable appearance Excellent attention to detail Good spoken English and communication skills Strong organisational and time-management skills Reliable, proactive, and able to work independently Eligible to work in the UK

Desirable attributes:

Previous housekeeping experience in a hotel or hospitality environment Knowledge of cleaning and hygiene standards in line with COSHH and Health & Safety regulations
