Abbey Sands Hotel is looking for reliable and hardworking
Housekeeping Assistants
to join our friendly team. This is your opportunity to be part of one of Torquay's leading seaside hotels, helping deliver an outstanding guest experience through exceptional housekeeping standards.What You'll Be Doing:
Cleaning guest bedrooms and public areas to the highest standards. Following daily checklists and procedures to ensure consistency. Reporting maintenance issues promptly to the appropriate team. Assisting guests professionally with reasonable requests. Following hotel procedures for handling lost property and security. Using cleaning products and equipment safely and efficiently.
What We're Looking For:
Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience is desirable but not essential - full training provided. A good eye for detail and a commitment to cleanliness. A positive, team-focused attitude and willingness to learn. Basic knowledge of health and safety (COSHH) and manual handling (training provided). Flexibility to work weekdays, weekends, and bank holidays as required.
