The housekeeper ensures a high standard of cleanliness, hygiene and presentation of guest rooms and public areas within the hotel. You will work efficiently and discreetly to enhance the guest experience by maintaining a welcoming and tidy environment.
Duties include but are not limited to
Service guest rooms daily in accordance with hotel procedures, stocking cart with room supplies, replacing bed linens, and replenishing guest room supplies
Collect and dispose of all garbage and recyclables
Sweep, mop, polish, refinish resilient floors; vacuum floors; perform all cleaning aspects
Coordinate room status updates with housekeeping: notifying of checkouts, late checkouts, early check-ins, and special requests
Adhere to all appropriate workplace regulations and legislation regarding health and safety, accommodation standards, and company policies and procedures.
Greet guests with a smile and answer their questions as required
25 minutes allocated per room for cleaning
Performance related pay is paid fortnightly.
