Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for cleanliness and hospitality, ensuring that all areas are maintained to the highest standards. This role is essential in providing a welcoming environment for our guests, contributing to their overall experience. Previous hotel or janitorial experience is highly desirable. Applicants MUST be able to work weekends!

Responsibilities

Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces. Ensure all cleaning supplies and equipment are used safely and efficiently. Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly. Maintain an organised and tidy work area at all times. Follow established cleaning protocols and adhere to health and safety regulations. Assist with laundry services as needed, ensuring linens are clean and well-presented. Collaborate with team members to ensure a seamless operation.

Skills

Previous hotel experience is advantageous, providing familiarity with hospitality standards. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality service. Janitorial experience is beneficial, demonstrating an understanding of effective cleaning techniques. Excellent time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks efficiently. A friendly and approachable demeanour, contributing positively to the team atmosphere. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
